KYCO Supports Tabitha’s Way “Gear Up for School” Event

At KYCO, we believe in giving back to the communities we’re part of. This July, we were proud to support Tabitha’s Way Local Food Pantry during their annual Gear Up for School event — a meaningful initiative that helps local children from families in need start the school year prepared and confident.

As part of the effort, KYCO donated backpacks filled with all the essential supplies students need to head back to school ready to learn and grow. It’s a simple way to help make a big difference in the lives of children in our community.

Tabitha’s Way’s mission is to “help individuals and families through tough times by providing temporary food assistance and recommending resources for self-reliance.” In 2024 alone, they assisted over 204,000 individuals and delivered more than 9.2 million meals to those in need. Beyond food, they offer encouragement, connection, and support — making sure no one in our community faces hunger or hardship alone.

We’re inspired by the incredible work Tabitha’s Way does every day, and we encourage others to get involved. Whether it’s sorting donations, helping during events, or volunteering at the food pantry, every act of service helps build a stronger, more compassionate community.
